However, with the Duchess’s style influence, it feels like, now more than ever, a simple, beautiful coat is something everyone craves.

While researching this post, I had a “moment”. From the depths of my wardrobe, I recovered a long black “Jigsaw” coat from my London days. It’s actually incredibly similar to my most coveted Smythe Brando Coat. This proves things come full circle, and one should keep that in mind when trying to justify an investment piece.

Undoubtedly, you can make almost any long black coat current. Accessorise well with a structured bag, a gorgeous pair of statement sunglasses, stylish boots, and shoe or white sneakers.
