Who doesn’t love a Camel Coat? I have coveted one for a while now and whilst scrolling through any fashion website or publication, I am constantly drawn to the look. A long coat instantly adds a look of sophistication to any outfit, suits almost any body shape and one of the camel variety is certainly a classic and sophisticated addition to your wardrobe.
I’m obsessed with Meghan Markle’s relaxed and effortless style, she has a sense of elegance and class in everything she wears and stunning coats certainly appears to be a trademark she loves. As I stated in my previous post “9 Coats Inspired by Meghan Markle“, I’m totally in love with her Smythe Brando Coat, unfortunately, it appears to be sold out everywhere,
Meghan first wore the Sentaler “Long wide-collar wrap coat” in camel below to attend a Christmas Day church service with the royal family, and looked absolutely gorgeous. The Duchess has also recently looked stunning in a scarlet red version with a purple dress as part of her maternity wardrobe).
The MaxMara “Manuela” coat that she is wearing below with jeans and a denim shirt is such a gorgeous colour and versatile style. It’s a coat that also seems to be a must-have for with numerous celebrities also.
And finally her Mackage Mai coat in Sand, this coat sold out in one hour after she wore as pictured below in Ireland last year.

With the Duchess’s style influence, it feels as though, now more than ever, a simple, beautiful coat is something that everyone is craving. Even if you don’t have the royal engagement or social calendar of a Royal or A-list celebrity, below are some of my favourite street-style looks that confirms the look is for everyone.
However, the reality is that a great camel coat can be sometimes hard to find. It’s currently Autumn in New Zealand and the stores are starting to fill with new seasons arrivals and it’s also a great time to snatch a bargain from the Northern Hemisphere as they head into spring. My favourite Megan Markle coats certainly come with a “Royal” price tag, fortunately, however, there are lots of other camel coats to choose from that’ll still leave some funds in your bank account.
