Welcome to Beyond the Shop Door! I’m Paula, the creator of this fashion and lifestyle blog focused on elevated, effortless, timeless and ageless style. Previously an Accountant, I now juggle roles as a wife, management consultant, and travel coordinator for my three busy teenagers.

As I approached midlife and my children grew up, I sought to discover my pathway for the next 20 years. It became clear that my passions revolved around fashion and beautiful things, leading me to start this blog as a creative outlet and a way to share my love without the need for excessive spending.

Alongside my love for fashion, I cherish inspirational quotes and regularly share them in my blog’s “Inspiration” section. Guided by the mantra of “365 Days 365 Opportunities,” I encourage everyone to do something each day that brings them closer to a better tomorrow.

Although I don’t claim expertise, I know what I like, and embarking on this self-taught journey has been incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable.
