There is no doubt that I absolutely love to shop online. However, I’m often surprised by how many fashionable people I know say they’ll never buy online and never ever buy swimwear online.

- Avoiding the pressure to decide then and there.
- You can avoid salespeople if you feel self-conscious or even irrationally judged.
- In the age of direct-to-consumer retailers, their entire business model undoubtedly relies on a great online shopping experience. One of their best-selling swimsuits is The Sidestroke; it apparently sells almost as soon as it is re-released. Elle Magazine also voted it as the #1 most wildly-flattering one-shoulder style.
What I love about Summersalt swimwear
Size & Fit
It’s undoubtedly a seriously size-inclusive brand, with almost every one-piece available in sizes 2-24. I also love that Summersalt shows each swimsuit on models of various heights and sizes.
They pride themselves on their data-backed fit, whereby they took over 1.5 million body measurements from 10,000 women to create the Summersalt fit.
Their size guides are easy to use, and each style has a details guide, size guide, and butt guide. They also have a “Size Finder” to find your perfect fit.
Summersalt gets amazing reviews for its fit, construction, and materials. They have four times the compression of the average swimsuit and still retain their shape and compression after more than 100 hours of use in chlorinated water. Plus, their polyamide is five times more durable than traditional swimwear fabrics. All Summersalt suits also offer UPF 50+ protection.

The female-run, female-operated, female-focused brand focuses entirely on stylish yet functional swimsuits. They produce one-piece swimsuits with coverage and support without sacrificing a flattering cut.
Andie Swim’s Mykonos one-piece was such an incredible hit when it first launched that it sold out in record time. Almost immediately, a waitlist formed and grew to more than 10,000 people. That year, the suit ended up selling out ten times.

I love that Andie Swim is seriously size-inclusive, with almost every one-piece available in sizes 00-24 (or XS to XXXL). I also admire and love that Andie Swim shows several swimsuits on models of various heights and sizes (and lets you know the details). Because, in all honesty, it’s easy to fall in love with a swimsuit on a swimwear model and then be surprised why it doesn’t look like that on us.
Their size guides are easy to use, and you can filter for pant size, bra size, butt coverage, torso size, hip size and shoulders etc. They also have a “Fit Quiz” to find your perfect fit.
Andie Swim hails itself as a universally flattering Swimwear. All their swimwear is made from the highest quality nylon/spandex blend, providing coverage, compression and support precisely where you want it.

If you have trouble choosing, Andi Swim takes much of the stress out of shopping. The company initially offered just three classic one-piece styles; however, have since expanded to six styles (also offering ribbed and long torso options) and a limited mix-and-match bikini line.
If you’re not a fan of print or patterns, Andie is also a perfect option, as all their swimwear styles are only offered in solid block colours (from four to six). Although the ribbed fabric options are only in white and black. Most importantly, every style comes in the “perfect black”, so what’s more to love?

There is no doubt that the choices for swimsuits are endless. I have tried to navigate the overwhelming selection so much that I thought this post would never end. Even as I try to wrap this up, there are a couple of high-end swimsuit brands that I have to mention;
SHAN Swimwear is an internationally recognised Canadian resort wear company specialising in creating and designing high-end resort wear and haute couture swimwear. It’s expensive but gorgeous if you have the budget. The Shanswimwear Instagram speaks for itself !!
OYE Swimwear – Istanbul-based OYE Swimwear blurs the line between swim and style, inviting customers to open their eyes and see fashion beyond the beach. My personal favourites are the Zenia, Zenia B&W, and the Veronique. However, OYE Swimwear’s Lucette bikini is so gorgeous that I would almost consider returning to a bikini.
