Early last year, I felt I needed some motivation to dedicate effort and commitment towards this Blog. Therefore, I decided to create the discipline of posting Motivational and Inspirational Life Quotes on Instagram daily. I have based each on the mantra of; “365 Days 365 Opportunities – every day, do something that will inch you closer towards a better tomorrow”.

While the ultimate focus of my Fashion and Lifestyle Blog is essentially gorgeous things that I love, there is also no denying that I have a lifelong passion for Motivational and Life Quotes in general.

I personally find that Quotes and their short yet inspirational pieces of advice can easily put life in perspective. I love that wise and beautiful words from successful people can be cathartic and motivating.

As a result, last year, I attempted to post daily quotes on my Instagram @beyondtheshopdoor. (Oh my goodness Instagram! I had never even owned an Instagram account prior to starting my Blog…Algorithms, posting schedules, hashtags, branding, photography..it’s all a bit overwhelming). 

I randomly included quotes that inspired me at the time. However, I wasn’t really that dedicated to the cause; some days, I just didn’t find the time.

Then after months of random posting, I was told by the experts in my household (i.e. the teenagers) that I was confusing the theme of my blog. All in all a bit of a start-up failure!

However, I was still exceptionally passionate about Quotes and the daily motivation that they can provide. Therefore in my wisdom or lack thereof, I deleted all of my previous Quotes and started a new Instagram page @365daysandopportunities. All based on the continued mantra of “365 Days 365 Opportunities – every day do something that will inch you closer towards a better tomorrow”. 

Unfortunately, I often feel too busy, and Instagram is a tough social media platform to master! However, this is also a way to be disciplined, even in the smallest possible way. To do something daily towards the dream and a better tomorrow. Ultimately serving as motivation and the courage to actually do this!

I hope these collections of Inspirational and Motivational Quotes can also be motivating and cathartic for you. No matter what you are feeling or experiencing.
