If I’m brutally honest, I’m not a huge jean wearer. However, I’m inspired by the straight-leg, a slightly cropped variety that is very much on-trend. If the colour/wash is right, they are perfect for an effortlessly classic spring/summer outfit.
I’m featuring the Anine Bing Gavin Jean, which is a modern boyfriend-inspired style. Made from 100% cotton rigid denim in a faded light blue wash with authentic vintage character, the slightly cropped, straight-leg pair finishes with a raw-edge hem.

THE MINIMALIST WHITE SNEAKER
CARIUMA – OCA LOW Sneaker Off-White Canvas
I have featured several posts on my favourite minimalist white sneakers; however, I’m featuring another sustainable brand in my list of favourites for this post.
Cariuma is an online brand of sustainable sneakers so popular that it once had an 8,000-plus person waitlist. The brand was catapulted further into the spotlight when Dame Helen Mirren wore a vivid green pair to the Cannes Film Festival last month.
The brand is known for its sustainable footwear, made from recycled plastic bottles, ethically sourced rubber, and GOTS-certified cotton.
Sustainability aside, these sneakers have amassed over 6,000 five-star reviews so far, and their extraordinary comfort is a common theme.
A great alternative sneaker to try, as they are not only sustainable, crazy comfortable, with many gorgeous colourways and options…but affordable too! (I’m in love with the OCA Low-Rose Suede)
