I have always had a passion for shopping, fashion and gorgeous things. As a result, I created “Beyond the Shop Door” to share some inspiration and channel my fashion and shopping passion into a different form other than just spending money.
The reality is that I spend way too much time shopping on the internet, and additionally, my posts often take me an eternity to research and create. An example of this is my last post on The Best One-Piece Swimsuit Brands To Shop This Summer.
The Loving Lately Edit
Therefore, I have started a weekly post, “The Loving Lately Edit”. These items are on my wish list, and I would include them in my wardrobe if I had a limitless budget and lifestyle to require them.
My inspiration is that “The Loving Lately Edit” will be a cathartic way of “shopping”. In short, a quick snapshot of my current “Loving Lately” items from my favourite stores or new brands discovered.
If I’m honest, I have always dreamed of a life in fashion. My younger self was an avid sewer, and I seriously contemplated attending fashion design school. However, I chose what appeared to be a safer path of an Accountancy Degree at the time. I’ve since considered my own retail store or clothing line multiple times. “The Loving Lately Edit” can also be considered a collection of items that I would absolutely stock in my store.

My inaugural post is “The Loving Lately Edit – Shoes & Boots on My Wish List”. Admittedly, a few items are my favourites from my recent posts: The 32 Best Classic Black Ankle Boots to Complete Your Wardrobe and The 10 Best Stylish White Sneakers for Women in 2019. I haven’t yet mustered the courage to purchase my most coveted pair of Golden Goose sneakers. However, they are without a doubt on my wishlist.
